The Mogiana region, stretching along the border of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, is one of Brazil’s most storied coffee-growing areas. Named after the old Mogiana railway line that once transported coffee to port, this highland region offers ideal conditions for cultivation— rolling hills, rich red soils, and altitudes ranging from 900 to 1,200 metres.
Renowned for its reliable climate and consistent quality, Mogiana is home to a mix of smalland medium-sized farms, many of which have been family-run for generations. Beans are typically sun-dried and processed using natural or pulped natural methods, enhancing the region’s signature sweetness and full-bodied character.
