Our speciality-grade Peru coffee comes from the Tambopata Valley, a biodiverse region nestled between the Andes Mountains and the Amazon Basin. This lush, fertile valley is home to a rich mosaic of rainforests, cloud forests, and palm swamps. The Tambopata River, which feeds into the majestic Amazon, provides a vital water source for the region’s thriving ecosystems and coffee farms.
The indigenous communities of Tambopata have lived in harmony with the land for thousands of years, using sustainable farming methods passed down through generations. With altitudes reaching up to 1,750 metres, the region benefits from nutrient-rich volcanic ash that creates loose, well-drained soils—perfect for cultivating high-quality coffee. Cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness during the harvest season from June to September.
